Attention residents: The Black Diamond Municipal Court will never call to demand payment for Jury Duty, nor will the Court request payment through apps such as CashApp and Zelle.


Hybrid Operations Notice

The Black Diamond Municipal Court customer service window is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed daily for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Court hearings are held both in-person and virtually.  If you have a criminal case, please check your hearing notice carefully to determine whether you must appear in-person or you are permitted to attend virtually. All Infraction cases are held virtually in Zoom.

Function

The Municipal Court of Black Diamond is a court of limited jurisdiction in Washington, presiding over only infractions, misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors. Other matters such as felony cases are filed and disposed of in King County Superior Court.
