Mountain View Fire and Rescue provides fire, emergency medical care, and other related services to the City of Black Diamond, primarily out of Station 98. Located near Lake Sawyer, Station 98 is currently staffed with career Firefighter/EMT's 24/7 and supplemented by volunteer personnel.
