PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday after the first Council meeting each month in the Council Chambers, 25510 Lawson Street, Black Diamond. All meetings are open to the public.*Council meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month.

The Planning Commission's role is to promote and coordinate comprehensive long-range planning, growth-management, transportation, and environmental protection. The Planning Commission serves in an advisory role to the City Council and makes decisions in the form of recommendations to the Council. All Commission recommendations are forwarded to the Council for its consideration, whether a recommendation to approve or deny.
